This section of the web site is dedicated to former patients who have
found our web site and have contacted us to tell their stories. The web
site was first posted in 2000. To date three former patients have contacted
the league. Eileen Thompson, Derek Smith and Peter Lapper.
Eileen describes in great detail memories of her stay at Heatherwood
during the war years.
Derek has supplied some pictures taken during his stay. Derek was a
patient on ward 1 during 1940 - 1950.
Peter Lapper has supplied some pictures and recalls his stay at his second
home 1942 - 1958.
Terry Martinelli found our web site and was amazed his picture was on the
web site. 1949.
