Heatherwood Memory Lane
The following pictures were passed to the league secretary in May 2003. Derek Smith who stayed on ward 1 during the 1940's - 1950's has fond memories of his stay as a child.
Derek recently returned to the hospital and was delighted to see that the main character of the old wards was still very much in evidence.
He remembers with great affection the kindness shown to him during his stay with a special mention for Joan Davies who is pictured below. Derek lives in Kent but would love to know where Joan is now.
