Happy 50th League of Friends Heatherwood

The league of friends begins it's 50th year of voluntary service, serving the hospital at Heatherwood. The radio station took great pride in presenting one of the specially commissioned commemorative mugs to a grateful patient Bruce Dunsford on ward 4 last night.

Bruce joins a long line of lucky winners of mugs. The first mugs were given away in 1993 and a number of designs have been available. Patients who make requests each night go into a draw and will qualify for a chance to win a mug.
