Welcome to Heatherwood in picture. The following page carries some more recent photo's of Heatherwood Hospital wards. On a warm October Sunday morning i took the opportunity to walk round the site and capture the current views of the buildings and site.

 In the last ten years there has been substantial changes to the use of the wards plus renovations and additions. The pleasant outlook from the veranda's of wards 1,2, or 3 have been obscured by the additions of wards 1G and 16.

The centre green in earlier years was the focal point for the annual fete's. The development of the site has left very little of the original space.
