Welcome to Heatherwood in picture. The following page carries some more recent photo's of Heatherwood Hospital covered walkway. 

The covered walkway until last year was open all the way round but in the last eighteen months they have changed the sides to incorporate windows and prevent the wind and rain blowing through. The section between wards 4 and 5 were the first to be converted the walkway by wards 2 and 1 are still in various stages of conversion.

During the summer months the walkway is normally decked out with hanging baskets.
