Heatherwood In Picture 2005 Out-Patients

Welcome to Heatherwood in picture. The following page carries some more recent photo's of Heatherwood Hospital Out-Patients. On a warm October Sunday morning i took the opportunity to walk round the site and capture the current views of the buildings and site.

 The out-patients clinic and accident and emergency unit has undergone many different changes. The original out-patients part of the building constructed in the 1960's. The loss of full A&E services at Heatherwood in the 1990's left the hospital with a day only service of minor injuries. The minor injuries unit is now housed at the ground floor of the maternity block.

Orthodontic services have now moved into this building.

The rear view of the buildings shows the original treatment building.

Out-Patients Opened in the 1960's it's undergone many different changes.	Out-Patients This entrance has changed many times. Previously Accident and Emergency unit was housed in this buidling.	Out-Patients Entrance Two.
