A Step Back In Time
Welcome to Heatherwood in picture. The following pages carries some more recent photo's of Heatherwood Hospital. On a warm October Sunday morning I took the opportunity to walk round the site and capture the current views of the buildings and site.
Where possible we have detailed some information about the pictures.
This is just a snapshot of the hospital in 2005.
Heatherwood House
Heatherwood house outwardly looks the same as the original photo's of the site in the 1920's. The house has in the past been used as the training school for nurses, and used for board meetings and seminar's.
2008
In 2008 and work commences on the demolition of the nurses quarter of the building.
